TAG TALK, LET’S TALK
在evernote(筆記軟體)即將達30,000筆之際，我決定再次要求自己重新拿起筆來寫點東西，一方面強迫手寫下那越來越常忘記的繁體字，一方面也是希望將平時所閱讀、感受、學到的東西以有系統的方式在這紀錄下來，也與大家分享。
I decided to write again, not only to force myself to write down the traditional Chinese characters that I forget oftentimes but also to share what I have read, felt, and learned with everyone in a systematic way.
一切都得從這個網站的名稱「TAG TALK」開始說起，回憶自從2013年初決定踏入旅遊業這一行後，大量閱讀成了最甜蜜的負擔，因為我可以順理成章地花上大把的時間沈浸在文字的世界裡。但沒多久卻也發現資料管理的重要性不下於前者，再加上生活極簡的個性，我漸漸地講所有紙本的資料轉換成數位的格式儲存，進而到現在追求以數位的為主的方式來彙整自己的生活。
It all started with the name of the site, TAG TALK. I remember when I decided to enter the travel industry at the beginning of 2013, reading a lot became the sweetest burdens, as I was able to spend a lot of time immersed in the world of words. But it didn’t take long to realize that data management was no less important. Coupled with my minimalist nature, I gradually converted all my paper-based data into digital format, and now I’m pursuing a digital-based approach to organizing my life.
這其中的關鍵就是筆記軟體evernote，裡頭由記事本(notebook)、記事(note)及標籤(tag)組成，分別代表著資料夾、文章及與內文對應的關鍵字，整個系統可以藉由單純的搜尋或篩選關鍵字迅速地找到想要的內容，當每天註記的內容都以某種規則被記錄下來的時候，這個資料庫就成了有價值的資料庫，由於可以離線存取，甚至不用擔心網路的問題；同時，數位內容可以輕易地被修改、分享，可以說是十分方便，它在我生活扮演的角色可說極為重要。三年前偶然吃到的雞肉飯、許久未聯絡的朋友電話、某個建築的完成日期、上個月的信用卡帳單明細等，都只消不到10秒即可在超過30,000筆的資料被找到。
The key to this is the notebook software Evernote, which consists of a notebook, a note, and a tag, representing folders, articles, and keywords corresponding to the text respectively. The whole system can quickly find the desired content by simply searching or filtering keywords. It’s a valuable database because you can access it offline, so you don’t even have to worry about the Internet. It takes less than 10 seconds to find the chicken rice I ate three years ago, the phone number of a long-lost friend, the completion date of a certain building, or last month’s credit card statement details in over 30,000 records.
更進一步地說，標籤將看似沒關係的記事以自己從沒預期的方式串連起來。以1895年為例，那年台灣成為日本的殖民地；同年，英國殖民政府將4個馬來西亞的蘇丹王朝聯合，成立馬來聯邦(Federated Malay States)；另外，日本也與巴西宣布建立邦交，開啟日後日本移民巴西的計畫。如果餓了的話，選台南、四顆星、火鍋三個標籤，馬上就有七個選擇，任君挑選。
Further, labels link seemingly unrelated stories together in ways that one never expects. For example, in 1895, Taiwan became a Japanese colony; in the same year, the British colonial government united four Malaysian Sultanate dynasties to form the Federated Malay States (FMS); in addition, Japan and Brazil announced the establishment of diplomatic relations, initiating future Japanese immigration plans to Brazil. If you are hungry, you can choose from three labels: Tainan, Four Star, and Hot Pot, and there are seven choices.
也就因為有evernote的支援，我可以在無窮大的網路世界裡馳騁。在過去的5年使用中，我受益無窮。因此，我希望能在這樣的背景下將evernote裡的東西以有系統的方式來分享給大家，也是對自己過去所學的再次統整。
Thanks to the support of Evernote, I can travel freely in the infinite internet world. In the past 5 years, I have benefited a lot from using it. Therefore, I would like to share what I have learned from using Evernote in a systematic way in this context, which is also a reorganization of what I have learned in the past.
